It's one of the most famous strips of sand in Italy and most Americans don't even know about it. Dolce & Gabbana spent their brazen youth here and while Virgil and Goethe marveled of its literary beauty. Located on Mazzaro' Bay, a short cable-car ride from Taormina's town centre, this Sicilian beach club offers a stylish hangout during prime spring and summer months favored by stylish locals and in-the-know sunbathers. A full-service beach club, the property features a seafood-minded restaurant as well as lounger service on one of the best sections of the Mazzaro Beach. Lounger prices range upwards of 8-Euro and include entrance to the private beach, sun bed, umbrellas, showers and changing cabins. For an additional charge a selection of jet skis, canoes and paddleboats are available for private rental.
Tips
During prime summer months you’ll want to arrive before 10am to get the best loungers by the water, and arrive by 1pm to get a lounger at all. On weekends there’s an open-air DJ spinning soft lounge music in the rooftop bar, but the beach can be a bit loud with splashy children and gossipy teenagers.

It’s the best beach club in Taormina unless you’re willing to schelpp down the beach to Spisone and its selection of nightclub-operated beach clubs. If the crowd at the beach club gets a bit stagnet, take a walk down the beach to where the locals hangout at the edge of the rocky cove.
